Our founder, Alex Motshwanetsi Mathole is a respected leader and expert in regulatory compliance and conduct risk management. She was the Regulatory and Conduct Risk Management Executive for the FirstRand group for more than 6.5 years, where she led and directed strategy formulation, implementation and execution for the Regulatory Compliance and Conduct Risk Management function across both the South African and international operations in the FirstRand group. The function won several awards under her leadership including awards for innovation, transformation, and custodianship. Prior to joining the FirstRand group, Alex was Regulatory & Corporate Affairs Group Executive for Tiger Brands Ltd prior to which she served as Executive Director & General Counsel for Siemens in Africa. She was also an independent non-executive board member for Pick n Pay Stores Ltd.
